My name is Sam Lynd and I am a biomedical illustrator from Rochester, NY. I graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2022 with a degree in Biomedical Art. I am passionate about earth conservation, accessible design, and diverse stories.

I completed an internship in the summer of 2021 with the Rochester Museum & Science Center, which can be viewed on my website under the tab Waters of Wonder. I created 21 illustrations of native and invasive fish in Lake Ontario to be used in a permanent display which opened in Fall of 2022. In 2022 I completed my thesis project, Transmasculine Care: An Overview, which I created 80 illustrations for over the course of 6 months as well as creating a prototype for the website.

Iā€™m currently working with PHACS, a research group at Harvard studying pediatric HIV/AIDS and the effects antiretroviral therapy on childhood development and perinatal HIV exposure. I am currently working with PHACS as a Creative Project Assistant working on coloring pages, animations, and other projects!
